Summer Weight loss Challenge so far

Well I am a month away from the end of my challenge and I have lost about 6-8lbs depending on the day! But I am happy with it since I am nursing. I know it can be harder to loose weight become I am hungry ALL THE TIME!!! But I'll take it because I am losing. I have been a little loose on my eating, letting a coke or candy bar slip but tightening up ship this week. I hope to lose another 6-8lbs by June 21! Wish me luck!

Summer Weight loss Challenge

This is one of the few areas in life you want to be the loser! Since I started in Feb I have lost 5 1/2 inches and 6 pounds. I am super excited about this! I also just started a Summer Weight loss Challenge on Facebook with some friends. Be have a $20 buy in and its from today till the first day of summer. Hope I win! We are posting our weight (taking a picture of ourselves on the scale to display the number)
it says 190.6, and I'm only 5'2!

So far no sugar has been going pretty well! I can still satisfy sweet cravings without eating sugar!

Lent and Eating Clean

So for Lent I am giving up refined sugar. I have been trying so hard to give up sugar and would fall off the bandwagon. So I thought Lent would be a great way to jump-start that. Let me tell you  praying when you crave something is great! I should do this for every 'un-clean' food I am trying to get out of my system!

I have lost 4 1/2 inches in 3 weeks. Haven't been on the scale but the inches lost are really motivating.

Also I LOVE Zumba

Snowed in and eatting well

So I live in the Dallas area, and for the last 4 days I have been house bound do to sub-freezing temperatures. Schools have been closed, businesses have closed early and stores are short on supplies. Because I haven't been out eating has been hard.

Because the roads are bad and I don't trust myself driving on ice and snow I haven't been able to stock my cabinets with clean foods. Doing ok, made Whole wheat flaxseed waffles, chili, spaghetti with tons of veggies. But some not so good things like, cornbread, chocolate chip cookies, and Snapple! But the good thing is all the junk is gone! Tomorrow the weather will be warm enough to go to Sprouts to shop for yummy clean food.

I need to find some easy clean dinners so that I am not tempted by unhealthy meals when I am exhausted at the end of the day.

Also Thursday will start day 1 of P90X! I am scared! My husband is doing it and wants me to join him. I think that it will help the weight loss and toning but it sounds scary! I let you know how it goes.

BTW I lost 3lbs this past week! Yeah!
